Guardian Services
The A.S. Guardianship service provides:
- Appointed educational guardian
- Designated Safeguarding Lead and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Full time staffed office to respond to queries from students and parents
- Regular personalised contact with each student
- 24/7 emergency support for any crisis
- Emergency accommodation
- Monitor travel and accommodation arrangements for start/end of term, exeat weekends and holidays
Accommodation
A.S. Guardians can provide host family accommodation for students on an emergency basis, or for holidays and exeat weekends, as required. All our host families are carefully selected to ensure that our students experience a real ‘home from home’ experience with the highest standards of comfort and care.
Our host families are carefully selected, background checked, visited, and monitored. We only accept families who meet our exacting standards, and we work closely with our students to ensure an excellent match with the host family. Students are warmly welcomed and encouraged to be fully involved with their host family’s activities during their stay, which has great advantages for both their language skills and their cultural understanding, as well as being a lot of fun!
Fees
Our fee structure is designed to be simple and straightforward, representing excellent value. Annual fees cover a full academic year, from September to July. Short stay programme fees cover a stay of up to three months. We do not charge additional fees for registration. As we ll as our standard package, we also offer an enhanced pastoral support package for students who would benefit from more frequent contact and support. Emergency and holiday homestay accommodation can also be arranged.
